An Introduction to Self Management - East of England

Arthritis Action is the UK charity offering hands-on, practical help for people with arthritis to improve their quality of life. Our vision is for people to live active lives, free from the impact of arthritis. We offer a self-management approach comprised of dietary and healthy eating advice, access to physical therapies, exercise tips and pain management techniques to those living with arthritis, whether or not they are having medical treatment.

This special event is for adults living with arthritis in the East of England. In it we will explore what self-management for arthritis is, and how you can implement it in your daily life. We will also cover :Impact of arthritisDiet Exercise Pain management Mental HealthAnd what support we can offerThis event is also to designed to give you a taste of our upcoming peer to peer group for those in and around the East of England. These groups are a space where those of you living with arthritis can discuss their condition, share experiences, tips and tricks and ask questions to others going through the same things as you.Both this meeting and the future groups will be held using zoom, so you will need an internet connection in order to participate.
