Join us on Monday 22 November at 7pm to hear from the A Rocha UK team who were at the UN Climate Conference: COP26.

What was agreed in Glasgow and what can Christians who care for creation do next? There has been increased understanding of the links between the biodiversity and climate crises at an international level, but what does that actually mean practically for what we do in the UK and beyond? He was previously CEO of Friends of the Earth in the UK for 7 years, also chairing the Board of FoE Europe. Prior to that he was Advocacy Director at Tearfund, where he established the development charity’s work on climate change and was a founder member of the 2005 Make Poverty History campaign. He took up his role as CEO of A Rocha UK at the start of 2016. Hannah Eves is a member of the Young Christian Climate Network, a community of young Christians campaigning on climate justice. In her day job, Hannah works for A Rocha UK as an Executive Assistant and Researcher, and her role includes helping to coordinate the Climate Sunday campaign, an ecumencial coalition engaging the UK church in the lead up to COP26. Her background is in writing and research, having worked previously at Theos think tank and the Jubilee Centre on social and environmental research.Seth Appiah-Kubi is the National Director of A Rocha Ghana. He has been involved in conservation for over ten years and has been a key part in formulating the conservation models used by A Rocha Ghana, involving community-based conservation, conservation education and conservation research.
