20in20 for the MS Trust: Visit to the Royal Courts of Justice
Thu 25 May 2017, 10:30 – 12:30 BST
Join professionally qualified guide and former City law firm partner, Colin Davey, for a tour of the Royal Courts of Justice. We will take in history, architecture, and the oddities that make buildings interesting, but there will also be a strong emphasis on how the courts function. Subject to availability of cases, there will be a chance to sit in briefly on some court proceedings, and Colin will be happy to try and answer any question you may want to throw at him on how the law is functioning today.
We meet from 10.30am at the Knights Templar, a large pub on the corner of Chancery Lane and Carey Street, ready for a prompt departure at 11am - the pub does tea and coffee, and offers good toilet facilities. Colin will have a “20in20” sign, to help you locate him.
Please note that photography is not permitted inside the RCJ, and that there is a security check on entering.
