This event will help you identify practical steps that your organisation can put in place to combat climate change

Connected Voice Support and Development helps organisations to run successfully and make a positive difference in their communities. This training is for Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations serving Newcastle and Gateshead. Climate change is an issue that everyone is talking about, but it can be hard to identify practical steps that your organisation can put in place. This online session will look at:<ul><li>How funders are increasingly looking for organisations to have an effective environmental policy</li><li>What elements should be in a contemporary and meaningful environmental policy</li><li>How can you engage the communities you serve in making a difference</li><li>Ten achievable and practical things you can do to make a difference</li></ul>The session will be especially useful for organisations that do not currently have an environmental policy or procedures, or are looking to update existing ones to reflect the declaration of a climate emergency.Not eligible for this session but still interested in attending? We offer bespoke training covering a range of topics. Our sessions can be delivered online using Zoom making them ideal for organisations based across England.
