‘FANTASTIC FIVE SUPPER CLUB’ AT VIVEK SINGH'S CINNAMON KITCHEN BATTERSEA

Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea

On 4th, 5th & 6th February 2022, Executive Chef and Founder of The Cinnamon Collection, Vivek Singh, is joining forces with the 2020 MasterChef: The Professionals final four – Santosh Shah, Philli Armitage-Mattin, Bart Van der Lee and winner Alex Webb – for an exclusive 10-course supper club. Running for two days only, the pop-up will see the chefs reunited to cook a special menu showcasing the varied and unique styles that saw each flourish on our screens last year. Each chef will prepare a signature ‘snack’ or small plate, to be served family style, before a main dish from each chefs follows. Fusing myriad influences from the chefs varied culinary heritages, guests can enjoy Philli’s cheesy Chawanmushi; alongside Santosh’s Timur spiced octopus, nettle leaf potatoes, fenugreek pickle, dungri popadum and spiced yoghurt, and other plates by Vivek, Bart and Alex. Next it’s the mains, which will see each chef introduce their course to diners, sharing the anecdotes and stories behind it – expect Bart’s grilled scallop with sea buckthorn, yarrow and chicory, a take on one of his MasterChef creations showcasing his passion for foraging; and Alex’s iconic Chalk Stream trout with parsnip, parsley, mussels and caviar sauce, the dish which won him the trophy in November 2020. The pop-up follows Vivek’s 2021 Life in Spice event series - a celebration of The Cinnamon Club’s 20th anniversary. The series has featured many long-standing Cinnamon chefs and talented alumni, and was dedicated to the outstanding team at the heart of The Cinnamon Collection, many of whom have been by Vivek’s side from the outset. The Fantastic Five dinner, which features former Head Chef of Cinnamon Kitchen Santosh Shah whose recent sell-out modern Nepalese pop up at Cinnamon Kitchen City met with critical acclaim, will be a further celebration of young talent in the industry, and showcases Vivek’s commitment to and passion for nurturing, teaching and supporting the next generation. Tickets cost £120 per person and includes a glass of champagne on arrival. The pop-up will run across lunch and dinner services only on 4th and 5th February.Fantastic Five Tasting MenuSnacksBart’s beef tartare with Amsterdam onions, wood sorrel and rye breadPhilli’s cheesy truffle chawanmushi & tsukemono Alex’s salted cod goujon, prawn crackers and kohlrabi Santosh’s Timur spiced octopus, nettle leaf potatoes, fenugreek pickle, dungri popadum and spiced yoghurtVivek’s Rajasthani rabbit wrapped in roomali bread with hot garlic chutneyMain coursesBart’s grilled scallop with chicory, sea buckthorn and yarrow *Vivek’s ‘3 Ps’ - tandoori breast of pigeon, hot sweet pumpkin chutney and masala peanut*Alex’s Chalk Stream trout with parsnip, parsley, mussels and caviar sauce *Santosh’s Sekuwa lamb rack with raaiyo saag, curried sprouted beans and maasu ko jholDessert Phili’s celeriac tarte tatin, miso butterscotch, granny smith, kombucha & soy sauce ice cream*Alex’s popcorn trufflesT&Cs: •	This event has been independently organised and is not associated with or endorsed by MasterChef: The Professionals, Shine TV or the BBC.•	Tickets are non-refundable•	Seating will be communal •	The lunch sittings run from 12-4pm; dinner runs from 6.30-11pm, Sunday sitting is from 2pm to 6pm;• Dietary requirements & allergies must be provided one week prior.
