ACE Annual Conference 2022

Association of Chief Executives

This year's ACE Annual Conference will focus on the theme 'The Arm's-Length Body in the Future of Public Service.'

We'll consider the future of public service, reflecting on civil service reform, while also looking at significant wider societal shifts, giving focus to the strength, depth and unique contributions ALBs bring to UK public service. We are inviting a diverse range of experts to contribute to our conference, sharing their rich perspectives on UK public life today. Confirmed speakers currently include members of the Public Accounts Committee, senior civil servants from the Cabinet Office, and senior researchers from Institute for Government. Our conference sponsors, Nous Group, will also join us to host a session on leading an ALB through reform. We will encourage ACE members to identify and consider the drivers for change in public service delivery. This year, ACE annual conference will held online and will be free for all members.
