We know that many find it hard to connect with the term Activism: it seems too extreme, struggling against intangible systems, bringing to mind an image that some of us find hard to identify with. We are here to redefine what it means to take action on issues you care about, in a way that meets you where you are, how you are, with the skills and interests you have.Join us over lunch to reset, get some inspiration and feel energised for the rest of the day. We&#x27;ll be joined by Aneira Roose-McClew, co-founder of Trust the People and lifelong community champion. Aneira perfectly embodies our vision of activism for the modern world: someone who sees opportunities for making the world a better place in everything they do and who loves engaging in that process. Aside from her work at Trust the People, Aneira has helped co-ordinate people&#x27;s assemblies for Extinction Rebellion, has run several supplementary educational courses for young people in her home borough of Camden and now works with Facing History, whose mission is to use the lessons of history to help students challenge racism, antisemitism and other forms of bigotry.We hope you&#x27;ll join us to get inspiration for your own journey into taking more action for people and planet and to hear about our upcoming programme designed to equip you to do just that.
