ShAFF Online – The Access Chat - Nick Hayes talks to Suzie Wheway

Join Nick Hayes and Suzie Wheway as they update on the state of play since Nick last came to talk to SHAFF in January 2021. We’ll update on what has and hasn’t changed in the water and land access conversation, what plans there are for the future and how you can help support the campaign for better access to water across England and Wales. A session of information sharing, hope and action for the future. Nick Hayes is co-founder of the Right to Roam campaign <a href="https://www.righttoroam.org.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.righttoroam.org.uk/</a> , author of the acclaimed Book of Trespass and passionate campaigner for better access to our land.Suzie Wheway is an outdoor swim guide and coach, inland access officer for the Outdoor Swimming Society and Outdoor Swimming Ambassador for Swim England. Suzie is passionate about improved access to water for everyone and will talk passionately to anyone who’ll listen be they a water company, national government or local community group<a href="https://www.cotic.co.uk" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"></a>------------------------------------------ As with all the ShAFF Online talks, there’s no cost to register and enter but we’ll ask you to make a donation. These talks have replaced our in-person events, so we would very much appreciate it if you’d consider donating the price of a pint or two to help us keep arranging events like these. ------------------------------------------ The talk will be delivered using <a href="https://zoom.us" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Zoom</a>. We recommend that you download the app and install it ready. You will be able to join the meeting via a link in your confirmation email. Donations will be shared between the speakers and ShAFF.
