Making Sense of Education Health Care Needs Assessments and Plans, a free online workshop for parents/carers  in West Sussex

This is a workshop for Parent-Carers of children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities in West Sussex.Delivered via Zoom by West Sussex SEND Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIAS)What is an EHCP? How does it work? What is the guidance for EHC needs assessments and plans? If you are unsure about the process and would like to get more information, then you may benefit from attending this workshop.West Sussex SENDIAS will give an overview of what happens during an EHC needs assessment and what a good EHCP should contain. From requesting a needs assessment to reviewing an existing plan. There will also be an opportunity to ask your questions during the session.After booking - Once you have booked a place you will receive an email confirmation from Eventbrite. Prior to the workshop you will receive a code to access the session. You will need to download Zoom in advance but you don’t need to set up an account if you don’t wish to. Zoom can be used on PC’s/Laptops and mobile devices such as iPad, phones and tablets. If you have any questions, please get in touch and we will happily talk you through setting this up if required.
