Inn Churches provides practical support to those who need it most across Bradford. We work with over 100 other community groups and organisations, and have more than 850 volunteers from 70 churches and the wider community in Bradford.Our work comprises our originalWinter ShelterandWelfare Support, and ourFood HubandCooking Hub.

A conference for those who want to broaden their understanding of the food agenda and how we can build sustainable &amp; inclusive food networks

The food crisis didn’t start with COVID-19, it started long before:<ul><li>when we stopped shopping locally</li><li>when we didn't think about where our food came from</li><li>when we started eating out as much as eating in</li><li>when we started buying from chain restaurants and stopped cooking from scratch</li><li>when food was lost from the curriculum as 'domestic science' and came back under the 'technology' umbrella</li><li>when foodbanks replaced affordable food</li><li>when we put profit before health</li><li>when we started buying products not ingredients</li><li>when we started eating carbage and mistook it for food</li><li>when we allowed food to go to waste when people were going hungry.</li></ul>Food for Health not Wealth will explore why we must act NOW, or risk a landslide of poor health and health-related issues.Our talks and speakers will be:Food for Britain - Andrew Forsey, Director of Feeding BritainFood Waste - Gareth Batty, CEO of FareShare YorkshireFood Savings - Tess Wilkins, Coordinator of FoodSaversFood Strategy - Kristen Bash, Public Health Consultant (office of Health Improvement and Disparities)Food and Cooking Skills - Rosanna Bluett, Jamie's Ministry of Food Food for Health - Shelley Booth, Feel Look Be
