Bell House is a volunteer led charity that provides creative learning for people of all ages and backgrounds. Our vision is to offer an opportunity to gather for learning, enjoyment and friendship in a special place.

In this session, we will explore self esteem and how young people can be impacted.

While most young people lack confidence at some point for those with low self esteem this can stop them from engaging in activities and have an impact on their sense of self. This can be especially difficult for those already experiencing extra challenges for example Dyslexia or ADHD.Learn strategies you can use right away to start developing teenagers' confidence and self-worth. Share further resources to utilise after the session.Building self esteem and confidence is like any muscle it needs to be developed and used to get stronger.This session is aimed at parents/caregivers &amp; those working with young people, although young people are also welcome to join. About the SpeakerTracy Douthwaite has 30 years of experience in the mental health and wellbeing field. She founded Way to Wellbeing in 2018 from a desire to break down mental health stigma and help us all lead healthier happier lives. Way to Wellbeing provides training, workshops and team days for organisations.
