The Other MA (TOMA) is a 21st century art education programme shaped by its participants and designed to fit the everyday lives of contemporary artists. TOMA is currently the only postgraduate level art programme in Essex after all other were stopped by their host Universities. It was set up to offer responsive, affordable, accessible unaccredited art education to artists.Founded in 2016 by Emma Edmondson TOMA was set up in partnership with Metal in Southend, working with them for an incubation period before becoming an independent not for profit. TOMA believes in life-long learning and aim to make the possibility of postgraduate style art education accessible to all. The Other MA

An online drop-in session which invites you to batter out some errands ahead of the weekend.

Whether it&#x27;s life admin, application writing, Friday afternoon at your day job, tidying your studio or experimenting at the desk, you are invited to join this call and enjoy some group encouragement to get sh*t done!•	Enjoy an alternative motivational playlist, pop-up colleagues, the occasional stretch and a half-time drawing exercise.•	Use the chat function to get feedback (&#x27;Does this sentence read weirdly?&#x27;)•	Ask for tips (&#x27;Where can I get a last minute present for my 4 year old nephew?&#x27;)•	Share a task (&#x27;Can someone help me cut the word count down on this?&#x27;)Paige likes to celebrate shared experiences within her work, both as an artist and as a producer based in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. Her own playful practice merges administration, internet humour and all things naff with video, performance and installation. Her work aims to connect people, be it through laughter, common ground, collective cringing or a shared surprise.Tickets to this workshop are free, however if you would like to make a donation to help support TOMA&#x27;s education and exhibition programme, please do so by also selecting the &#x27;Donate to TOMA&#x27; ticket in addition to a &#x27;General Admission&#x27; ticket.In the event that places on the workshop sell out, please email elliotgibbonsapple@gmail.com to be added to a waitlist.This workshop is part of Tend To It&#x27;s associated programme brought to you by the 2019-21 cohort of the TOMA (The Other MA) course.
