Cervical Cancer Awareness  lunch and learn event

Kent and Medway Macmillan Primary Care Team

A short education session for Nurses, GPs and all Health Care Professionals in Primary Care, to raise awareness of cervical  cancer.

January hosts cervical cancer prevention week. The aim of this bite size education session is to look at the risk factors for cervical cancer, explore the role of screening and how we can improve uptake, signs and symptoms of cervical cancer and referring someone for an urgent suspected cancer referral if cancer is suspected .The session is developed and delivered by Macmillan and NHS England and NHS Improvement.The session is available as either a Lunch &amp; Learn at 1pm or Supper &amp; Learn at 7pm, you only need to register for one session as the content is repeated.Following the event delegates will be asked to complete a very short survey monkey to help evaluate the training.Any questions please contact kmccg.macmillanprimarycare@nhs.net
