Learn to plant new woodland trees and to care for young trees recently planted

An opportunity to get involved in planting new woodland trees (E.g. Rowan, Birch and Cherry) as well as to weed and support young trees already planted at Buckingham Park in Shoreham by Sea ( 2pm ) Meet outside the park at 12pm on the day for this event. There are further events on the same day at Southwick Rec (10am ) and Adur Rec ( 2pm)We have created separate events for each time to know numbers, (maximum 25 spaces on each day), but please feel free to come to each time slot. This is a FREE event that occur on every 3rd Saturday of each month in 2022, but we are asking for a donation to TreeAction UK CIC which supports tree planting projects for local schools. You can donate via the website - www.treeactionuk.org/donate The events are a great opportunity to get your family out in and support nature locally , learning how to care for young trees and plant your own. PLEASE NOTE : Tree planting may only takes place from November to March and there is no guarantee we will be planting trees. On other months and occasions we will be tending, weeding, mulching and watering young trees already planted depending on conditions. We may also have guidance and support from an arborist from Adur &amp; Worthing Council. Tools are provided but you are welcome to bring your own.
