Dr Karen Patterson, senior lecturer in Respiratory Medicine at BSMS, will be looking at vaccine hesitancy in February's monthly lecture.

<p>A review of the history of vaccine hesitancy, and unpacking particular aspects of COVID-19 vaccine fears.  Dr Karen Patterson will review the (scant) data on getting people to change their mind about medical decisions.  As a pro-medicine, pro-vaccine person, Dr Patterson will pose the controversial question of how righteous are we allowed to be when patients make “poor” decisions.</p>
