The Department for Formation offers opportunities for the formation of the lay people of the Diocese of Salford, of all ages, to grow in their discipleship of the Lord Jesus and  their participation in the life of the Church so that they can live their vocation in the Church for the world..

Dr Jessie Rogers is the lay Dean of the Faculty of Theology at the Pontifical University Maynooth.

As part of our Formation Series on Synodality, we will be hearing from Dr Jessie Rogers who will be leading a session called ‘Lessons from the First Synod in the Early Church – Acts 15’, exploring what we can learn for our Synod from the Council of Jerusalem and sharing her experience in facilitating several Diocesan Synods. This event will take place on Zoom only. There will be chance to ask Jessie questions at the end.7:30pm – Input 8:30pm – Q&amp;A 9:00pm – Finish
