I'm Claire Worthington, founder of Village Web Company CIC. I'm a web developer and digital skills trainer from Stockport in Greater Manchester. I work with small business owners to make the most of the internet and help them do better business online.I’m passionate about helping people develop the skills and confidence to safely do things online.

This course is for people with an existing WordPress website, that would like to learn how to confidently manage  and update their own site.

This is a hands-on two day workshop style training course designed for people running small businesses, charities or other organisations, who would like to develop the skills and confidence to manage their own WordPress websites.During the course you will be given your own WordPress website to work on, which lets you experiment, without the fear of messing up your "real" website. You will have access to your training site for a month, so you will be able to carry on practicing your new skills in a safe environment.In addition to having a WordPress website to work on, this course also includes the opportunity to have a private one to one session with Claire to discuss your own website.
