The Peer Involvement Network (PIN) is a collaborative community of services and organisations within Camden &amp; Islington that support and inspire one another. Together the PIN brainstorm ideas, discuss challenges and work collaboratively to improve peer services and raise awareness of the incredible value of lived experience. Who is this event for? This event is for anyone currently providing peer work or volunteering as a service, or anyone interested in understanding more about peer support. What is the aim of this event? The PIN’s debut event will demonstrate the importance of peer working, advocate for the need for more opportunities and share the PIN&#x27;s shared values. The event will include; <ul><li>An introduction to peer working and an overview of the range of services in the boroughs of Camden &amp; Islington </li><li>Debut of the PIN&#x27;s short film </li><li>A discussion between Peer and their Client about the realities of peer support. </li><li>A Q&amp;A session with a panel of Clients, Peers, and Co-ordinators. </li><li>A poem from a Peer, inspired by their role. </li><li>A presentation of the PIN&#x27;s Key Values of Peer Working and Volunteering. </li></ul>If you have any questions or need any assistance accessing the event please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
