Алексей Кортнев ― бессменный лидер команды <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://www.ns.ru/" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">«Несчастный Случай»</A>, яркий фронтмен, поэт и композитор. С Сергеем Чекрыжовым они познакомились в 1984 году в Музыкальной студии под руководством Иващенко и Васильева. С тех пор сочинено более 100 песен, сыграно множество спектаклей, позади совместные съёмки в кинофильмах. Кортнев и Чекрыжов создали свой собственный, уникальный и узнаваемый музыкальный язык, которому до сих пор не придумали названия. 
Постоянные соавторы и лучшие друзья, «несчастный случай» российской сцены ― Алексей Кортнев и Сергей Чекрыжов ― впервые на лондонской сцене с акустической программой «Частный случай».
