Shireland Biomedical UTC has been created to provide an outstanding education to young people while also giving them a unique insight into the health and health science sector. Health Futures UTC

Future doctor, dentist, midwife, physiotherapist… or interested in health-related careers? Join us!We have limited places available for Year 7 in September 2022.In 2022 Health Futures UTC will join Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust and become Shireland Biomedical UTC.Our UTC was the first University Technical College in the UK with healthcare and health sciences as its specialism. With our state-of-the-art facilities, including a simulated hospital ward, we prepare students for health-related careers in the public, private and voluntary sectors, from doctors and dentists to midwifes and paramedics. This will all take place alongside the highly successful Literacy for Life curriculum that is taught at all secondary schools within Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust.We believe this is a very special opportunity for our young people to get a head start in specialist and well-respected careers, whilst also following a traditional secondary education.Find out more about the school: https://sbmutc.org.uk/
