The Friends of Julian of Norwich

This course is an invitation to spend time in the company of one of the greatest Christian mystics of all time: Julian of Norwich.

This course runs every Wednesday for seven weeks from 3.30pm-5.00pm GMT and your one ticket lets you in to all seven events.

" Journeying forty days with Julian will invite you deep into her encounter with the One who loves you (and all things) passionately, intimately, and securely. It will also open you to a theologian whose lifelong probing of her experience of God has provided insight rarely matched in any generation. Your 40-day journey gives you an opportunity to be mentored by a great spiritual writer. The purpose of the journey, however, is not just to gain “head knowledge” about Julian of Norwich. Rather, it is to begin living what you learn, and touch base with others once a week to share experiences and insights.” Dr. Lisa Dahill.

In Lisa’s book, following each day’s Reading from Julian, you will find a daily snippet of Biblical Wisdom relating to what Julian writes. Following this you will be prompted to enter Silence for Meditation and use space to write Notes from what you experience. You can then return to the next heading: Questions to Ponder. Here you find a few pointed questions for you from Lisa Dahill. Then move on to a Psalm Fragment that relates to the day’s reading. After Journal Reflections, you will find two more headings: Prayers of Hope &amp; Healing and a one- or two-line Prayer for Today to be prayed throughout the day.
