Our Japan Day is back for the 8th time with various performances, workshops, stalls and displays at the Harrington Social Space of UCLan

The annual, the 8th time running, an all day and open to anybody event to experience Japan and its culture at UCLan, Preston Lancashire. This time, we are honoured to host <a href="https://www.kaminari-uk.com/performance-by-kaminari-uk-taiko-japanese-drumming-york.html" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Taiko Drumming Performance</a> and its Workshops, and Language workshops by the Chief Language Adviser of the Japan Foundation in addition to Cosplays, Stalls, Performances such as Okinawan Karate, Travel &amp; Study Guide in Japan, Eco Furoshiki Wrapping hands-on sessions, Academic displays by students and academic staff of Japanese. You can also enjoy authentic Bento or Sushi and desserts. This all day event is shceduled to start at 9:30 and finishes around 16:30. Please note that: -The entire event is free of charge. Anyone can attend any part of the event and please book a place from this link. You will be asked to answer a very short survey after the event so that we can improve our future events. We have security card entry system across the University so if you are members of public, please signal to people inside to open them for you.
