EVOC (Edinburgh Voluntary Organisations’ Council) has been supporting the people and communities of Edinburgh since 1868. Our vision is for people in Edinburgh to live in an equitable, sustainable and resilient city, supported by a thriving third sector. Our purpose is to serve the needs of people and communities across Edinburgh by supporting our members and third sector organisations to be effective and drive the change they need. We will specialise in information gathering and sharing, research, analysis, advocacy and relationship management, to deliver impact for our members, funders and the wider community in Edinburgh.

EVOC invites you to an online event hosted by CAPS

People living in Edinburgh who are from minority ethnic communities are encouraged to come along to this event to find out more about the proposals submitted to the Communities Mental Health &amp; Wellbeing Fund for the City of Edinburgh. 176 proposals were submitted so we’re focused on 3 clear priorities: <ul><li>Matching the overall investment to the budget (£1.25 million)</li><li>Prioritising the needs of people and communities in the city</li><li>Delivering a fair and equitable investment that considers the needs in all areas of the City. </li></ul>We want to ensure the needs of people from minority ethnic backgrounds are heard and understood so funding decisions can reflect these needs.
