The Scottish Music Therapy Trust exists to support the development of music therapy in Scotland.We do this primarily through workshops and lectures, providing continuing professional development opportunities in Scotland for music therapists, music therapy students and to the wider arts therapies.We have existed since 1990 and are Scottish charity number SCO10017.

Pre-conference activity in progress: Please disturb music therapy in educational settings

Harmeny School

This pre-conference takes place the day before the 12th European Music Therapy Conference 2022 begins. It is sponsored by the Scottish Music Therapy Trust and hosted by Harmeny School, just outside Edinburgh (easily accessed wtih the no.44 bus). There is no charge to register. This is a great opportunity for music therapists and teachers to learn from each other’s work and re-consider the role of music therapy in educational settings. Please email musictherapy@qmu.ac.uk if you have any dietary requirements.
