This half day course will give delegates an understanding of mental health and the skills to provide assistance.

Please note, this training course is only available to staff at FOR Cardiff member businesses. FOR Cardiff is pleased to offer this fully funded training course to employees of FOR Cardiff member businesses and would like to invite expressions of interest. Due to the limited number of spaces available, each business is limited to two free spaces per course. Each space is worth £45.83. If you are unsure whether you work for a FOR Cardiff member business, please email info@forcardiff.com. This course will be delivered online by Cardiff and Vale College.This course is designed to provide an awareness of mental health and will cover:<ul><li>Understanding the nature and implications of mental distress</li><li>Understanding the principles of mental wellbeing</li><li>The five steps of providing assistance with mental health</li><li>An understanding of depression, anxiety and psychosis</li></ul>Delegates will receive a certificate of attendance from Cardiff and Vale College on completion of this course.Once you have registered your interest, we will verify that you work for a FOR Cardiff member business and send further information on how to book your place.
