Bell House is a volunteer led charity that provides creative learning for people of all ages and backgrounds. Our vision is to offer an opportunity to gather for learning, enjoyment and friendship in a special place.

This course has been designed to help you understand how you can best support a child at home and at school.

Children with dyslexia may learn differently from you. We will cover how to recognise different learning profiles, multisensory learning, age-appropriate reading matter and tools, note taking, mindmapping, making numeracy more visual and how to gather evidence that a child needs help and support.Ticket price is £100 which includes all six sessions on these dates:Thursday 26th January, Signs and Symptoms with exam arrangementsThursday 2nd February, Learning StylesThursday 9th February, Teaching ReadingHalf TermThursday 23rd February, Study SkillsThursday 2nd March, Teaching MathsThursday 9th March, Teaching WritingIf you prefer to book any of the above separately you can do that by navigating away and using the dedicated page. Each session is £20 if you buy them separately.We would ask you to read the following guidelines for your visit.•	If you or any of your group have any symptoms of COVID-19, or have been diagnosed with the virus, you must not attend the event;•	We have reduced participant numbers to enable social distancing.•	We encourage you to wear a face mask (unless you are exempt) when moving around the house;•	We would ask you to take a lateral flow on the day of the event you are attending;•	We aim to increase ventilation in the rooms, so some outside doors may will be open on arrival; we suggest you wrap up warm as the house is likely to be cooler than usual;•	Hand sanitiser will be positioned at various points in the house;•	We will have a list of people who have booked so you do not need to print off your ticket;•	We will hold your contact details which you provide via Eventbrite and we may pass them onto to NHS Test and Trace if required, in accordance with government advice.•	You will of course receive a warm welcome from our volunteers, and we look forward to seeing you at your event.
