Learn about why Muslims fast during Ramadan & how to support the community.

Ahead of the month of Ramadan this workshop will provide advice on how best to support Players and Club Members during the month. Participants will learn more about Ramadan and why Muslims fast during the month while debunking some myths.Participants will also get the opportunity for a Q and A with a faith advisor from <a href="https://nujumsports.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Nujum Sports</a>.Aims of the workshop:<ul><li>Develop an understanding of Ramadan.</li><li>Gain a deeper understanding of how to support a Player or Club Member who is fasting.</li><li>Challenge some of the myths and stereotypes that exist around Ramadan.</li><li>To further understand the challenges faced by Muslims in football and the solutions to addressing them.</li></ul>Participants will receive:

</li><li>On-going support &amp; guidance.</li></ul>The workshop will take place online via Zoom and is limited in numbers.If you have any questions about the workshop please contact PAWB@faw.co.uk**PLEASE NOTE this workshop is for individuals working or volunteering in football in Wales.
