Norfolk Record Office (NRO) collects and preserves unique archives relating to the history of Norfolk and makes them accessible to people all over the world.The events listed here are run from our base at The Archive Centre, Martineau Lane, Norwich.   Free parking is available at County Hall for Archive Centre users. <h3>IN-PERSON EVENT</h3><h2>Walk in the footsteps of previous Norwich citizens as you join us around the centre of Norwich using some of our archives to find out what life was like in the past. Feel free to bring your tablet or phone and scan our QR code to see the documents bringing the past to life as we walk (if you don&#x27;t have a suitable electronic device paper copies will be available during the walk). </h2><h3>The walk takes approximately 90 mins- we ask that you wear sensible footwear and come dressed for the weather.</h3><h3>The in-person audience is a ticketed event, you must book a ticket in order to attend this talk.  </h3><h3>All in-person events have been subject to a risk assessment and staff will be following COVID safe procedures. </h3><ul><li>Follow social distancing guidelines</li><li>The maximum capacity of events is limited, to ensure a space please book using the links below. If you are no longer able to attend an event please let us know.</li><li>Do not attend an event if you have any of the 3 COVID-19 symptoms</li><li>We advise you take a Lateral Flow Device test a maximum of 3 days before attending an event</li></ul><h3>In-person events will only run depending on the current government guidelines at the time.
