Create the willow lanterns that will illuminate the streets of Helston on Saturday 5 March.

Tuesday 22 to Saturday 26 February, 10am - 4pmThursday 24 and Friday 25 February, until 8pmLucy Grant and Vicky Wiltshire are working with the Museum of Cornish Life to create a lantern procession for St Piran&#x27;s Day. Join them in a studio at CAST during the half-term week to learn new skills and create the willow lanterns that will illuminate the streets of Helston on Saturday 5 March. Book your free ticket in advanceThe workshops are free and open to all, but we encourage you to book a ticket in advance to allow us to manage the number of visitors. It is also fine to drop-in on the day and join in when there is spaceThe project is supported by the Welcome Back Fund, funded by the European Regional Development Fund. The Welcome Back Fund supports the safe return to high streets and helps build back better from the pandemic. The specialist training Lucy and Vicky received to help them develop the project was supported by Cultivator Cornwall through their Individual Skills Development award, funded by the European Social Fund.
