Join us for a day of work and play in Primary's Dye Garden.

PRIMARY

Join us for a day of work and play in Primary&#x27;s Dye Garden. Help to prepare the garden for the spring by sowing seeds and transplanting plants. Led by artist Georgina Barney, try one-pot ‘substantive’ dyeing experiments, and learn how to prepare plant-based fabric for dyes by &#x27;mordanting&#x27; cotton.A lunch of soup and bread will be provided. This activity will take place outdoors - please dress warmly and wear old clothes that you don&#x27;t mind getting dirty. The dyeing activity will take place under an outdoor shelter and there will be an indoor space to get tea and coffee throughout the day.Contact rebecca@weareprimary.org with any diatary and access needs.
