Or maybe you want to do a bit of exercise before going to the game? Or simply you just want to meet some fellow fans, chat about the footy as you cycle through along cycle routes and quiet streets?We are running a park-and-cycle, you are welcome to park your car at Riverside Walk Car Park, and join professional ride leaders on a a journey through Sunderland. Taking quiet roads and safer streets, we will arrive at the Stadium of Light ready for the match. You will then be led back up to Riversdie Walk Car Park to collect cars after the game. Both Sunderland and Cambridge fans are invited on the ride, and those of you who do not support either.We will meet at 12.30 at South RIverside Walk Car Park, leaving at 13.00 and arriving at the Stadium of Light around 14.00. After the game we will meet up and cycle back, we aim to return to Riversdie Walk Car Park by 18.00. Full terms and conditions will be sent round to participants once they have signed up.You are welcome to bring your cycle with you, or if you let us know we can provide a rented bike for the journey. All are welcome, however any under 18&#x27;s will need to be accompanied by an adult and complete a short cycle skills test prior to the event.Consider your impact on the planet and buddy up with someone if driving to Riverside Walk Car Park.<a href="https://pedaltothepitch.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Pedal to the Pitch</a> is an organisation that encourage fans to walk, wheel and cycle to football matches. We want to reduce football fans impact on local communities around stadia, improve air quality at football games and minimis footballs impact on the planet. We run led rides and walks, campaign for sustainable practice and bring together fans with similar ideas.This event has been planned with of <a href="https://www.wearerise.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Rise </a>and we are grateful of the supprt from <a href="https://www.sypbp.co.uk/about-us" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Young People&#x27;s Bike Project</a>.
