Join us at Bell House for yoga sessions to help menopause and beyond with Sarah Thomas

This 5 week course will teach you techniques to manage some of the symptoms of the menopause using gentle and restorative yoga postures, breathing techniques, mindfulness, meditation and relaxation. The aim of the course is to provide a safe and supportive space in which to share information about the menopause and to offer specific tools that you can draw upon in your daily life. We will discuss how to support wellbeing with adjustments to lifestyle and nutrition, explore alternative therapies such as aromatherapy and herbal remedies and raise awareness of what triggers symptoms using mindfulness and journaling. Each session will focus upon a different symptom:●	Anxiety and Overwhelm●	Insomnia●	Hot Flushes●	Menopause Rage and Irritability●	FatigueThe course is suitable for beginners and does not require the body of a gymnast or any special equipment! These are the dates for the full course - unfortunately the sessions are not available for booking individual dates:Tuesday 1st March 6pm-7.30pmTuesday 8th March 6pm-7.30pmTuesday 15th March 6pm-7.30pmTuesday 22nd March 6pm-7.30pmTuesday 29th March 6pm-7.30pmAbout the teacher:Sarah Thomas is a qualified Yoga, Meditation and Mindfulness teacher and has practiced for over 25 years. She is accredited to teach Menopause Yoga by The British Wheel of Yoga and has completed the Menopause Movement Professional Development Training Programme. You can find out more about her by visiting her website - www.bewellbeingyou.co.ukPlease bring a yoga mat if you have one, a blanket, a cushion, a notepad and pen, and water to drink. Wear warm comfortable clothes that enable you to move freely – layers are ideal to ensure you don’t get too hot or too cold. If you don’t have a yoga mat, there will be some available to borrow. Please NoteA link for Sarah&#x27;s health questionnaire will be sent with your confirmation email. Please fill in this form and send it via email to sarah.om@hotmail.co.uk ahead of the first session. The form is confidential and is simply to ensure Sarah is aware of any health conditions that may impact your ability to do certain poses.Tickets are £50 for all 5 sessions. Sorry but this set of events is not available as individual sessions. There are some discounted tickets available. Please email info@bellhouse.co.uk if you are interested in the sessions but the cost is prohibitive.20% of the ticket price is given as a donation to Bell House.We would ask you to read the following guidelines for your visit.•	If you or any of your group have any symptoms of COVID-19, or have been diagnosed with the virus, you must not attend the event;•	We have reduced participant numbers to enable social distancing.•	We encourage you to wear a face mask (unless you are exempt) when moving around the house;•	We would ask you to take a lateral flow on the day of the event you are attending;•	We aim to increase ventilation in the rooms, so some outside doors may will be open on arrival; we suggest you wrap up warm as the house is likely to be cooler than usual;•	Hand sanitiser will be positioned at various points in the house;•	We will have a list of people who have booked so you do not need to print off your ticket;•	We will hold your contact details which you provide via Eventbrite and we may pass them onto to NHS Test and Trace if required, in accordance with government advice.•	You will of course receive a warm welcome from our volunteers, and we look forward to seeing you at your event.
