Weird Pride Day is a day for people to embrace their weirdness, and reject the stigma associated with being weird.

The second annual <a href="https://oolong.medium.com/weird-pride-day-232465b67dd9" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Weird Pride Day</a> is on the first Friday of March, and AMASE will be running a Lightning Talks-style online event to celebrate, together with ARGH. Weird Pride Day is a day for people to embrace their weirdness, and reject the stigma associated with being weird. To publicly express pride in the things that make us weird, and to celebrate the diversity of humankind.If you are interested in delivering a talk of 7 minutes or less on a topic related to weirdness, please let us know by submitting your name and topic using this form: <a href="https://forms.gle/CRaPzjpbwvidgbix7" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://forms.gle/CRaPzjpbwvidgbix7</a>For example, you could talk about what makes you weird, or what other people seem to think makes you weird; about a book, song, film or TV show that celebrates non-conformity, and what it means to you; how you learned to embrace your peculiarities, and what barriers you faced; or about how to be safe and respectful while staying true to your weird nature. This event is open to everyone.
