Our 30th lunchtime reading - featuring Dino Mahoney, Elena Croitoru, Rebecca Cullen and Deborah Finding. Elena Croitoru is a British-Romanian writer and she has an MSt in Creative Writing from the University of Cambridge. She won the Charles Causley Poetry Prize and has been commended or shortlisted in the Edward Thomas Fellowship Award, the Wales Poetry Award, the Mairtin Crawford Award, the Winchester Poetry Prize, the Teignmouth Poetry Competition &amp; other awards. Her first novel was shortlisted for the Wilbur Smith Prize - Best Unpublished Novel.
 Her debut pamphlet, &#x27;The Country With No Playgrounds&#x27; is published by Live Canon and is based on her experience growing up during Ceausecu&#x27;s regime and the post-communist depression. 
Rebecca Cullen has a PhD in Creative and Critical writing; some of these poems were written while poet in residence at Newstead Abbey, the ancestral seat of George Gordon, Lord Byron. She is a lecturer in English at Nottingham Trent University, leads the NTU-wide Writing Reading and Pleasure Programme and presents the Notts TV Book Club. Her students are a daily reminder of the extraordinary power of creativity. Her family is a daily reminder of the extraordinary power of love. Her debut collection &#x27;A Reader&#x27;s Guide to Time&#x27; is out imminently from Live Canon, after winning the Live Canon Collection Competition 2021. Konstandinos (Dino) Mahoney ,is based in London and of Greek-English-Irish heritage. He won publication of his collection, &#x27;TUTTI FRUTTI&#x27; in the Sentinel Publication Poetry Book Competition and is the winner of the Poetry Society’s Stanza Competition with his poem, &#x27;Dr Mirabilis and the Brass Wall That Will Save England.&#x27; He teaches Creative Writing at Hong Kong University (visiting lecturer), blogs for the Asian Literary Review, and is rep for Barnes and Chiswick Stanza. He is also part of DINO and the DIAMONDS a group that performs his poems as songs. He has a new collection coming out imminently with Live Canon - &#x27;The Great Comet of 1996 Foretells&#x27;.
