Our online workshops are interactive, allowing attendees to have a discussion between themselves and the hosts.
Cameras can be on so faces are visible. Perfect for those that want to get involved in a group discussion.

This training is led by our Autism Nurse Consultant and one of our Peer Support Practitioners, blending the clinical knowledge and skills with lived experience of assessing a mental health service. Delegates will learn:<ul><li>About autism </li></ul><ul><li>The impact of co-occurring mental health needs for autistic people </li></ul><ul><li>Diagnostic overshadowing and how to prevent this </li></ul><ul><li>Tips in assessing an autistic person and adapting the MSE </li></ul><ul><li>Introduction to suicide risk for autistic people </li></ul><ul><li>Ideas and suggestions on how to adapt your clinical practice and what your obligations are under the Autism Act and the Equality Act to make reasonable adjustments. </li></ul>If you are a mental health practitioner working in adult services, then this training is not to be missed! We encourage our workshops to be interactive and are keen to discuss and involve people as much as we can. Therefore, due to the nature of this, unfortunately we are unable to record our workshops due to the privacy and confidentiality of the attendees.
