Spring is the perfect time to visit with woodland flowers such as wood anemone and bluebell in bloom, and down in the lower lying wetlands there is a chance of spotting kingfisher. Beaver recovery project officer Izzie Tween will be on hand to talk about our aspirations to release beaver onto the Island; plans that could further enrich the number and variety of wildlife that thrives here.

This walk will be both on and off maintained paths and may also include areas of uneven an wet ground. Parking is available in a local public car park. There will be no access to toilet facilities.
