Learn about the language of flowers and make flower bombs, filled with heritage seeds for guerilla gardeners

To celebrate the work of artists Griselda Allan we're using heritage plant seeds to bring the language of flowers to life. <h3>Griselda Allan</h3>Did you know about Griselda Allan? She was a local artist who made beautiful imagery of flowers during her training as an artist and also recorded the impacts of WWII on Sunderland with reportage paintings of bombing and ship building. A unique artists who broke barriers and created amazing artwork.We'll celebrate her creativity by learning about the language of historic flowers and making eco sculptures and bombs in our garden studio to bring colour and life to our surroundings. You'll make flower seed bombs to take home and watch them grow. We'll have examples of Griselda's artwork to inspire you and refreshments on sale to make a day of your visit. Book a place or drop-in throughout the day.
