The Bulgarian Cultural Institute London (BCI London) is Bulgaria’s official organisation in the UK which promotes Bulgarian culture, knowledge and tourism, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria.

Дълги години единствено Божана Апостолова поемаше риска да публикува млади български автори, да проправя път за книгите им. Но заедно с това не спря да жъне и лични успехи. Автор е на 9 стихосбирки, три романа, единадесет книги за деца.  
Нейни книги и отделни творби са преведени на немски, турски, руски, италиански, унгарски, испански, сръбски, чешки, румънски, гръцки и др. езици. Създател е на Литературния фестивал „Пловдив чете” и перманентната културна инициатива „Младият Пловдив чете”. През 1994 г. тя учредява и най-престижната годишна национална награда за поезия „Иван Николов”, която се връчва от 1994 г. насам.
