“Designing AI for Home Wellbeing” is an emerging field that answers a gap in AI scholarship where new AI technologies are generally driven by technologically capability rather than their ability to support wellbeing. We propose setting in motion this new area by organising a face-to-face AI Seminar Day to converge wide ranging expertise in AI technology and explore definitions, challenges, and research priority areas for “Designing AI for Home Wellbeing”. Through a series of presentations and talks from experts in the field, this event will highlight the importance of designing AI technologies focused on wellbeing in the home. Why attend?This face-to-face event will offer an insight into a range of future AI technologies for home wellbeing as well as the social implications of implementing them. There will also be the opportunity for attendees to pose questions to a panel of experts on how new, AI technologies can be adopted in the home for wellbeing to contribute to the establishment of this exciting new field.
