A workshop for local authorities on Defra’s biodiversity net gain consultation with a focus on the process for TCPA development

This workshop for local authority officers on Defra’s biodiversity net gain consultation has a focus on the process for TCPA (Town &amp; Country Planning Act 1990) development and will cover phased development and minerals planning, along with securing BNG through conditions and legal agreements.The sessions will provide an opportunity to discuss issues, solutions and share experience with each other, as well as Defra and Natural England. PAS will use the workshops to feed back to Defra on the consultation and in developing our resources for LPAs on BNG. We expect attendees to come ready to contribute and share their knowledge and experience with cameras on and mute buttons off. Attendees should have familiarity with Defra’s BNG consultation and have attended or watched the recording online of PAS’s event providing an overview of the consultation: https://www.local.gov.uk/pas/topics/environment/biodiversity-net-gain#pas-eventsPlease use your work or .gov address when signing up. Please note that this event is for local authorities only. We will cancel registrations from those signing up with non-local authority email addresses.
