A workshop for local authorities on Defra’s biodiversity net gain consultation with a focus on the biodiversity gain plan

This workshop for local authority officers on Defra’s biodiversity net gain consultation has a focus on the biodiversity gain plan and draft template.The sessions will provide an opportunity to feedback to Defra and Natural England on proposals in the consultation relating to the biodiversity gain plan and the draft template. PAS will use the workshops in developing our resources for LPAs on BNG. We expect attendees to come ready to contribute and share their knowledge and experience with cameras on and mute buttons off. Attendees should have familiarity with Defra’s BNG consultation and have attended or watched the recording online of PAS’s event providing an overview of the consultation: https://www.local.gov.uk/pas/topics/environment/biodiversity-net-gain#pas-eventsPlease use your work or .gov address when signing up. Please note that this event is for local authorities only. We will cancel registrations from those signing up with non-local authority email addresses. Please note that we can only accommodate one person per local authority at these events.
