This is not the introduction of technology for technology’s sake but to help the industry deal with some of its key challenges. For this digitalisation to take place the construction industry requires reliable, secure and high performing voice and data wireless network connectivity and for the people, plant, equipment and materials across construction sites to be effectively connected. In most workplaces these core services are seen as a basic utility available to all but not within the construction industry for work sites. 5G private mobile networks offer a real solution. <h3>Simon Parry - Nokia</h3><h3>Simon Parry has worked in the telecoms industry for over twenty years. He has twenty-something patents from his time as a researcher and developer at Nortel, and later Ciena. His passion is in all the bits of the network you can’t see and don’t think about. Recently he joined Nokia to be the CTO of their Enterprise group in the UK and Ireland, and has been getting to grips with private wireless networks.</h3>

<h3>Adrian Talbot - Ferrovial</h3><h3>For 25+ years Adrian has successfully delivered innovation, technology and digital transformation for some of the leading organisations across many different industry sectors.</h3><h3>For the last 10 years his primary motivation has been to innovate using data and technology to improve the social, economic and educational outcomes of our communities and society. Adrian’s passion for transport infrastructure, mobility &amp; smart cities has deepened further through his most recent roles with Ferrovial – a global leader in developing sustainable infrastructures for the world on the move.</h3><h3>Since 2018 Adrian leads Ferrovial’s Centre of Excellence for Mobility &amp; Digital Infrastructure which focuses on driving transversal synergies through disruptive innovation across all Ferrovial’s business units. One of the current focus areas is 5G Private Networks to support digital transformation but also to enable new digital services and disruptive growth opportunities.</h3>

<h3>Stephen Muldowney - EMS </h3><h3>Stephen has over 20 years’ experience of working with CSP’s in the fixed and mobile sectors in helping them deliver new advanced services and dealing with their pain points. Deep understanding of multiple markets, as well as solutions from in home and mobile devices, video, access, voice, wireless RAN, small cell etc.</h3>

<h3>Andrew Lambert - EMS </h3><h3>Andrew Lambert CEng FIET MIoD is the Founder and CEO of Electronic Media Services Ltd (EMS) and Founder and COO of Fibre Ltd. </h3><h3>Andrew is a Chartered Engineer and an experienced board-level executive with a proven record of developing new technology to solve business problems with extensive practical experience of working in Europe and Asia.</h3><h3>In 1995 he founded EMS, a Technology Consultancy and Telecoms Company, which manufactures, the award-winning i-MO® 4G/5G WAN router appliances and associated Optibond® Software Defined Networking (SDN) cloud management software. </h3><h3>Andrew is a Founder of Fibre Ltd a telecoms company that installs full-fibre broadband to new housing developments. </h3><h3>He is passionate about supporting innovative SMEs and International Trade and recently retired from the boards of the Enterprise M3 LEP and the China Britain Business Council. He is Chair the IoD London International Trade SIG, Vice-Chair of the techUK UK-China Tech Forum and a member of the UK5G International Trade and SME/LEP Working Groups.</h3>

<h3>Stuart Young - COMIT Projects</h3><h3>Stuart is an Experienced leader with a demonstrated history of working in the construction and research industry. Skilled in Operations Management, the digital revolution, Highways, Emerging Technologies, Feasibility Studies, and Project Estimation. He’s a strong business development professional who  graduated from University of Central Lancashire. </h3>

<h3>Steve Slater - Chair for Construction - COMIT,  IT Site Services Manager - Wates</h3><h3>I have been involved with COMIT since 2005 and the held the role as Chair for the Construction members of COMIT since 2016. COMIT is Construction collaboration forum that brings construction organisations and technology solution providers together to help overcome challenges using mobile IT solutions. I have over 20 years of experience in providing IT services for construction project sites and I am currently the IT site services manager for Wates, responsible for ensuring project sites and offices have the right connectivity and IT services provided.</h3>
