Join us for a special storytelling session with Morag Hood!
Celebrating the Scottish Book Trust's Bookbug Exhibition visiting the Library.

We are so excited to be hosting Scottish Book Trust&#x27;s Bookbug Exhibition at the Library, celebrating 10 years of Bookbug Bags!Join us for a special story time &amp; craft session with celebrated children&#x27;s author &amp; illustrator Morag Hood: for children aged 3-5 &amp; their parents or carers. (Younger siblings also welcome).Please book a free ticket for each adult attending. Children don&#x27;t need tickets.Morag Hood has written and illustrated many children&#x27;s picture books. I AM BAT was shortlisted for the Bookbug Picture Book Prize 2019, meaning it was gifted to every P1 child in Scotland. Visit Morag Hood&#x27;s website: https://www.moraghood.co.uk/The session will be inside the Library in our Children&#x27;s area.A few things will be different about this session for everyone&#x27;s comfort and safety:- Please do not attend the session if you or your children display symptoms or have tested positive for Coronavirus, or if you have been told to isolate by NHS.- It is suggested that adults please take a Lateral Flow Test (at home) prior to attending.- Face coverings must be worn by adults until they are seated, unless exempt (children under 12 are not required to wear face coverings but may choose to do so)• Booking is essential and your details will be securely held on Eventbrite for NHS Scotland&#x27;s Test and Protect purposes.• Hand sanitiser will be available on arrival; and free disposable face coverings are available• Windows will be open for ventilation, so you may want to bring warm clothing or an extra layer.• While at the session please follow good hygiene practices (avoid touching your nose, eyes and mouth. Cough or sneeze into your elbow or a tissue and dispose of it safely).• In the event the session is cancelled, you will be contacted via email.• Plastic chairs will be provided for parents and carers, with children on laps or in front of you on the carpet.• Adults will be asked to remain at least 1m socially distant from other households throughout the session.
