The Bishop of London's Health Inequalities Action Group

The Bishop of London's Health Inequalities Action Group is delighted to host their Town Hall on Faith and Health on Monday 28th March 2022.

The Bishop of London, Sheikh Mohammed Mahmoud OBE, Pastor Verona Crossfield, Dr Deesha Chadha OBE, Dr Calvin Moorley, Leonie Lewis MBE, Dr Chi-Chi Ekhator and Rita Chadha request the pleasure of your company at their Town Hall to discuss how inequalities impact health and the role of faith communities in promoting community health.The Bishop of London&#x27;s Health Inequalities Action Group welcomes faith leaders, health care workers, civil society leaders and people with lived experience of health inequalities across London to meet on Monday 28th March 2022 in Whitechapel in East London (further details to be announced upon obtaining a ticket). The objectives of the Town Hall are:1. To identify the priority areas for improving the health of people in local communities 2. To understand how faith organisations can help meet the health needs of their local communities 3. To explore how health institutions and faith organisations in local communities can work together to improve people’s health outcomes ___________________________________________________________________________________________This is a ticketed event only with limited capacity so please RSVP by obtaining a ticket. Please note that the event will begin at 6pm for registration and food and drink to begin promptly at 6:30pm.
