Our mission is to significantly reduce the disproportionate adverse outcomes for Autistic and ADHD children and young people by providing unique opportunities for skill development, enhancing well-being, and fostering a sense of community belonging. We aim to empower neurodiverse children, young people, and their families by addressing critical gaps in services. Our goal is to transform the lives of Autistic and ADHD children by minimising adverse outcomes, enhancing their skills, promoting well-being and community connections, and encouraging a sense of belonging.

Course overview:Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common childhood disorders which can continue through adolescence and into adulthood. Awareness training is fundamental to practitioners working with children and young people and providing fair opportunities for all children. Our specialist ADHD training course not only gives delegates an introduction to attention deficit disorder as a neurological condition, but it also provides delegates with the knowledge and skill to differentiate the approach to support needs of individuals with ADHD effectively. Delegates will learn about the attention deficit disorder from a medical and social model of disability, understanding how ADHD can impair our ability to learn, and how young people can thrive in social and educational environments. The content of the course has been co-produced by young people and adults with ADHD given a fresh insight into the individual experiences and nuance to the difficulties faced in everyday life. By completing this course, delegates will develop a tool kit for understanding and implementing support and intervention to help children and young people thrive in different environments.Who should attend: Professionals and practitioners looking to increase their knowledge and understanding of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, develop skills and strategies to improve outcomes for young people with ADHD.
