<h3><strong>Do you feel inspired to be more creative?  Would you like to use creativity to inspire action in light of the climate emergency? </strong></h3><h3><strong>Are you curious about energy? Would you like to know more about including an energy lens in your  everyday life?</strong></h3><h3><strong>Would you like to meet like-minded Plymouth residents who feel the same way?</strong></h3><h3><strong>Join us for our Creative Energy Day and learn more - we will talk, walk, be creative and enjoy lunch  together. Limited places available, booking essential.</strong></h3>

<h2>What&#x27;s it all about?</h2><ul><li><strong>Clean Streets: </strong>This activity is in conjunction with the Plymouth City Council and Innovate UK &#x27;Clean Streets&#x27; project. Over the past few months a series of innovative pop-up charge-points have been installed around the Hoe and Millbay areas. These Electric Vehicle (EV) charge points are an import step in the transition away from fossil fuel powered transport. <a href="https://www.plymouth.gov.uk/cleanstreets" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.plymouth.gov.uk/cleanstreets </a></li></ul><ul><li><strong>Art and Energy: </strong>The Art and Energy Collective is a group of artists, thinkers and tinkerers specialising in participatory arts practice with energy and the Climate Emergency as our focus. We work creatively to help people engage with our evolving energy system; helping participants develop skills to imagine and bring about a better future. We believe that art has a vital role in engaging everyone in our transition to lower carbon emissions. <a href="https://www.artandenergy.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.artandenergy.org/ </a></li></ul><h2>What to expect:</h2><ul><li>9:00-9:45am: Meet at The Waterfront</li></ul><ul><li>9:45-11:30am: Energy walk with activities - we will be going for a walk around Plymouth to visit the new charge points and explore the city through an energy lens. We will be out for approximately one and a half hours, taking a gentle stroll of approximately 1.8miles, pausing regularly to undertake observational activities. There will be some hills, steps and uneven surfaces. Please see &#x27;Additional support&#x27; below if you feel that this may not be accessible for you - we will endeavour to find a solution so that you can join in. </li></ul><ul><li>11:30-12:30pm: Presentation and discussion - The intersection of Art and Energy.</li></ul><ul><li>12:30pm: Lunch (included in your booking at no additional charge)</li></ul><ul><li>1:15 - 2:45pm: Creative activity - dreaming, imagining, doodling, constructing... (no previous creative experience required).</li></ul><ul><li>2:45-3:00pm: What next?</li></ul><h2>What to bring:</h2><ul><li>Sensible footwear</li><li>Waterproof clothing (we all know what Plymouth weather can be like! If it&#x27;s raining hard then we may cut our energy walk short, but we will still venture out to see the EV charge points, so please come prepared).</li></ul><h2>Getting here:</h2><p>Where possible we encourage you to opt for low carbon travel.</p><p><strong>Bike</strong> - The Waterfront is easy to reach by bike and there are plenty of places to secure your bike.</p><p><strong>Bus</strong> - The no. 25 bus from Bretonside Bus Station, Exeter Street, Plymouth PL4 0BG will bring you very close to the Waterfront.  <a href="https://www.plymouthbus.co.uk/services/PLYC/25?date=2022-03-15&amp;direction=outbound" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">25 Bus timetable </a></p><p><strong>Walk</strong> - The Waterfront is short walk from Plymouth City Centre.</p><p><strong>Car</strong> - There is a small free car park at The Waterfront  (available to use on the day) plus plenty of pay and display spaces within a very short walk.</p><h2>Additional support for accessibility:</h2><p>If you have a disability or any additional needs and require assistance in order to fully participate in this activity, please let us know when you register.
