3 Day Workshop on Interdisciplinary Building Information Modelling (BIM): Cloud Enabled Design Collaboration

Monday 6th November - Wednesday 8th November, 9am - 5pm

Sheffield Hallam Universities' Department of Natural and Built Environments is hosting a three day workshop with Autodesk. The workshop will explore cloud-enabled design collaboration with subsequent remote clash detection and data management. The principle software used will be Autodesk BIM 360 Team, Autodesk BIM 360 Glue and Autodesk BIM 360 Docs.

The workshops will cover:

• Creating a BIM Execution Plan
• Joining a design team based in the cloud
• Working on the same BIM model as your team in real-time
• Keeping track of design versions through real-time synchronisation of data
• Resolving clash detections in real-time through remote decision-making
• Produce and communicate design data to industry standards
