<P>This free training is designed to get you ready to take part in the College's <A HREF="https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/birkbeck-three-minute-thesis-and-poster-presentation-competition-2018-tickets-41814570506" TARGET="_blank" REL="noopener noreferrer">Three Minute Thesis Competition</A>. Training is compulsory for anyone wanting to take part in the competition, alternative sessions are also available on <A HREF="https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/3-minute-thesis-competition-training-session-tickets-41814315744" TARGET="_blank" REL="noopener noreferrer">2nd May</A> and <A HREF="https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/3-minute-thesis-competition-training-session-tickets-41814118153" TARGET="_blank" REL="noopener noreferrer">8th May</A> - please register to secure a place.</P>
<H3>Eligibility</H3>
<P>Canditates must be current Birkbeck PhD students who have successfully passed their confirmation milestone (the submission of a research plan, usually at least 6 months into the beginning of study).</P>
<P>Please note: in order to compete you must have permission from your supervisor. The competition will take place in front of a public audience and will be filmed and available online after the event.</P>
