Established in 2002, Bloc Projects is a contemporary arts organisation in the centre of Sheffield.Bloc Projects is a not-for-profit creative organisation with educational and charitable aims.We support artists at key stages in their careers through an acclaimed contemporary exhibitions programme.Our free public programme of talks, heritage projects, workshops and events supports the creative professional development of the local community, promoting diverse creative career pathways and providing generous opportunities for participatory learning, meaningful arts engagement and skill development.As an organisation we continue to work with other local art organisations, universities and charities to ensure our educational activities welcome a diverse and intergenerational demographic.

<h2>Collective rage workshop with Nina Dearden</h2>Saturday 7 May, 2-4pmFree &amp; open to all<h3></h3>To introduce rage as an important affective register in this year’s Blueprints for the Otherwise, we are delighted to host a group workshop led by trauma-informed therapist and facilitator Nina Dearden. Over a two-hour session, we will carefully ground ourselves and chart a course for collective rage. Especially relevant for any of us working, living and organising in the peripheries.Nina&#x27;s counselling experience has primarily been working with marginalised groups excluded or sidelined by mainstream therapy. She has previously worked with the Refugee Council, the UK Lesbian and Gay Immigration Group (now called Rainbow Migration) and the East London Out Project. --Nina DeardenNina Dearden is a psychotherapist who is passionate about creative, culturally aware and inclusive therapy. She is based in London.
