Virtual HR Forum

Greene & Greene

Join us for our next Virtual HR Forum which will take the format of an interactive Grievance Masterclass.

We know that most of you will be adept at dealing with grievances, and will have good internal procedures that can help navigate the process. However, we also know that grievances can be complex and emotive, and we do see bear traps that can steer the grievance process off course.
Our next session will therefore be a grievance masterclass – where we will look at the thornier aspects of grievances, explore where mistakes are sometimes made and provide some practical tips for handling the grievance and investigation process.
This session is designed to be an interactive workshop; giving delegates the confidence to deal with all types of grievances, and how to avoid common mistakes along the way.
In this session we will focus on:

Recognising a grievance and distinguishing them from other processes (i.e. a disciplinary appeal or a whistleblowing concern).

What could make a grievance unreasonable?

Dealing with post termination grievances.

The use of independent grievance officers.

Dealing with multiple grievances.

The employee who goes off with stress.

The employee who raises a DSAR

The serial, frivolous or vexatious grievance.

When protected and without prejudice conversations might be appropriate.

This is an online event which will be held on Zoom. Log in details will be sent to you as part of your confirmation email. Please note these emails will come from Eventbrite and not a Greene & Greene email address.
